In 1912, the Imperial Tobacco Company of Canada dramatically shifted away from the pre-canned painted portraits for the player images, and went directly to a photographic black & white image. Most card fronts depicted each player from the chest up and were very careful to include the respective team logos that were embroidered on each player's jersey. Cards from this particular year do not appear on the market that frequently and when they do, they are usually neither professionally graded nor worthy of a potential high grade. One additional significant ehancement over its counterparts from 1910 and 1911, was the presence of bi-lingual text on the back of the card. The top portion of the back contained text that was printed in english while the lower portion contained text that was printed in French.
There were 10 teams that were part of this 3rd set.

2. Montreal
3. Shamrocks
4. Toronto
